Don't Mess With The Bees

Melissa glares at the giant man on the sky, hating his guts. This war was ending here and now, no more sacrifices, no more stupid attacks. Only now... only here, would this end.

Melissa rushes into the building with bullets whizzing past her head and rockets thundering as they spiral up, up, and crash down. Two steps behind, but keeping up its defense, what the giant bee machine that the man referred to as "Buddy." Melissa did not know if that was its' real name or not, but she did not care. He was on her side now, and he was getting her in that giant steel building. The bee shoots off one of it's cannon balls, ramming it into the door and creating such a big crater in it, that it was a least 70 feet deep before it opened up to the building. Melissa jumps over the messed up crater and charges in.

Inside, it was bear steel with a glossy exterior and stainless floors. Everything was technology based, with pads and screens covering every wall in the hallway. There was not a single gun in here though, probably so that it did not mess up the interior. Instead of guns, two floating orbs with magnets on either side and a single scanning eye in the center of its forehead, probed the hallway, finding Melissa's heat signature. She twirls one of her javelins and lunges at it with her wounded shoulder, probably not getting enough momentum and force behind it, but enough to cut the wiring and stop the orb from moving. The bee comes in, with its javelins and starts taking down three at a time, empty spheres of electrical type and sparks scattering the grounds as they advance towards the goal.

The goal. The goal of this mission was two giant steel doors with an electronic lock shutting it from the inside and out. There was a password key next to it, but only a selected few knew about it. To be specific, only two really did.

The bee advances towards the key pad and gentle types in the number combination that makes the doors click open. After the click came a loud groaning, screeching sound as the giant bolt pulled away from the opposite side of the door and unlocks it. As the doors slowly open wide to reveal thousands upon thousands of computers, software, and electronic tools with the same gruff and rugged man from the projection outside, sitting in a chair, watching the monitors.

"I knew I should have changed the passwords," was the only thing he said before he quickly turns around, throwing a knife towards the two. As the knife slowly cuts the air, both the bee and Melissa try to dodge it, not knowing who it was meant for. Unfortunately, right when the man threw the first knife, a second followed, finding its way right into the cavity of Melissa's rib cage, splitting it in half and digging into her intestines until they were completely and utterly shredded. Melissa goes down with a painful shriek as her blood spills on the floor. The machine was quickly to her side to comfort her.

"Mel-issa," says the robotic voice.

"Hey Buddy," chuckles Melissa as a stream of blood is coughed out of her lungs. "Sorry I couldn't make it... Guess it's just you now. Man... did you miss out... we would have been... would have been..."

Before she could finish her sentence, she coughs up a handful of blood, it spilling everywhere, and she rolls out of the robots javelins and onto the ground, motionless.

"Mel-issa? Mel-issa!" says the robot, almost in panic. It then whips its head over to look at the man who created it, eyes seeming to dance and flicker with rage. "Sh-e was you-re daugh-ter! H-ow co-uld you!"

"It was me or her Buddy! She was suppose to be raised better then this, but now look at her. Such a shame too... she would have made an excellent Honijbij... Oh well... look at the runt now," laughs the man as his belly jiggles a little.

"Sh-e was you-re daugh-ter!" yells the machine as it quickly gets up and propels itself to the man in front of it.

"Magnet! Go!" yells the man as he takes a frightened step back. There was a giant ball of steel that was made up of the little orbs of magnets that Melissa and the machine had fought earlier, but this time, they were all stuck together. They seemed to hum and spark as one being and the man just laughs.

"Do you think you were the only machine I would create! I hate to break it to you, but you weren't even the best!!! I might have messed up on you, but I've gotta ton that I'm still producing that will be ten times better then you!"

"N-o," says the robot defiantly, not stopping or flinching as the big ball of steel is hurled at him.

"W-what are you doing?" asks the man, getting scared again.

"A-venging a fr-iend!" says the bee defiantly as he swings at the ball of steel, separating the orbs into single units. After it separated them, it slide its javelin through the center of each separate cell, puncturing a giant hole where the camera was. The pile of broken cells started to add up around the machine's feet, getting bigger and bigger until there was no more orbs to destroy. The bee then swiftly turns its eyesight on the man and walks forward, taking one step at a time.

"I-I order you to stop!" yells the man, but the machine does not listen.

"Shutdown program, password 33214," says the man. The bee goes off line, hunching over and it's eyes flickering to a dark maroon. The man then laughs at the silly robot and turns around.

"Over-ride or-der," says the robot as the eyes quickly flicker on. "re-booting. Re-booting. Start-up com-plete. Proc-ede with annihilation."

"What!" yells the man as he angrily turns around to glare at the robot. "Override passcode Momma's Boy, proceed with shutdown. Repeat proceed with shutdown."

"De-nied," says the robot as he gets closer and closer to the man.

"Code; Rustbucket. System freeze and go on lock down," says the man as sweat starts to drip down his sharp features. This seems to do the trick because the robot starts to struggle as he gets closer and closer to the man, slowly stopping with inches between them. The man then tries to scoot free, missing the bee's outstretched javelin. The bee watches every movement of the man and quickly lunges it's long pointy javelin through the cavity protecting the heart and exiting the spinal cord, a giant gaping hole in its wake. The man spits up blood as his lungs burst and fall to his knees, his eyes wide and unbelieving of the skeptical that accord before him.

"You ha-ve re-pen-ted for you-r s-ins," says the bee as it watches the man fall on his face, body motionless as the life drains out of him. The robot then turns to the now dead Melissa and walks over to her, stooping down to pick her gentle up and blasting a hole through the top to escape. An urgent flapping is heard from its wings as it lifts off into the air, flying towards the old barricades that she grew up in.

As he arrives at the barricades and gently lays her body next to the Colonel's, laying them side by side. As he looks up, he can see there catch phrase along the top of the now destroyed gate. The catch phrase was really the only thing still standing in these ruins. As he goes over the words, one by one, liking how they looks, liking what they mean, he tries them out, just to make sure.

"Pro-tect the we-ak, gi-ve to th-e po-or, ser-ve you-r coun-try, and re-mem-ber the de-ad," reads the robot, loving how they sounded. With one final glance down at its only friend, it takes off and flaps into the dusk, vowing to live by those words from now on.

So, if you listen closely, you might hear a faint humming sound in the wind. Do not be scared, for it will always, and forever more, simply be a Lone Soldier.

ALWAYS Avenge Thy Father

A searing fire licks and bites at Melissa's feet. The cracks of guns and gun fire can be heard in the distance and she searches for them, only the fire consuming her sight. She twirls and spins in a panic, trying to find a way out and hopelessly finding nothing. She screams, but it is as if nothing was there, nothing could hear her, that she was forever alone. Tears start streaking her face as she continues to yell, louder and louder till her voice was completely hoarse. She places her face in her hands to cover her eyes from this deafening loneliness. Then, as if by a switch, the fire pops and completely disappears. Melissa looks up, her red eyes flickering between hope and dread as she looks around her for some sort of life. Around her, all around her, was nothing be dead bodies, blood flowing on the ground and getting closer and closer to her. So close, in fact, that Melissa could not tell if it was her blood or of those around her. She looks down at her hands to see them stained, tinted, dirtied. She was not a soldier, she was a fraud. She could not even do the one thing she was trained for, protecting the innocent. Inside, she only saved her own life. Her own pathetic life.

There was series of clinks and two pulsing red lights that glowed through the thick darkness around her. Melissa can feel her breath catch in the back of her throat. She could feel the ground move with each step of this unknown beast. A beast that was scarily familiar to her. She could see the gleam of yellow and black as it gets closer and closer. Something about it made Melissa feel a wave of deja vu sweeps over her as she watches a giant titanium bee looms over her, an emotionless face staring down at her. Panic spreads through Melissa's body, a feeling that she is not use to, and absolutely hates. She was trained to fight, not run. She needs to fight now, she has to listen to her training. She looks around, but cannot find the only weapon she truly knows. Her javelins were missing. She then turns at the machine, trying to stare into its eyes, trying not to flinch or shake.

"What do you want with me!" she yells at the lifeless bug. The bug continues to stare at her, unmoving. This starts to irritate her as she looks down at its giant javelins for hands. She then glares back up into the machines eyes and yells, "Kill me already you pest!"

"N-o."

Melissa jolts up from the ground she was laying on, distributing her sleep. She looks around the dark, crowded forest that was covered in ferns and bramble. Melissa had been given a soft blanket to lay down on a thick patch of moss that was found after extensive search. Now, the blanket and moss under her were soaked wet because of the profuse sweating that had happened when she was asleep. She went to roll over on her shoulder when a complete and intense jolt of pain electrified her nerves. She had forgotten about her shoulder, which was still bleeding from her battle with the robot a few days ago. She just sighs and sits all the way up, pulling her honey blonde hair away from her face and starts to braid it behind her back.

"A-re yo-u o-k-ay?" asks a robotic voice to the right of Melissa. Melissa tries not to looks frightened by the voice as she looks over at it, still braiding her long, luscious hair.

"I'm fine," says Melissa simply.

"B-ut Y-ou st-ill sc-rea-m," says the bee with confusion.

"It's nothing," says Melissa as she throws her hair over her shoulder after she finishes braiding it.

"A-re you s-ur-e?" asks the bee with a tilt of his head.

"Of course I'm sure," snaps Melissa as she gets up from her seated position and stretches to begin her long walk down . "So this Melvin person."

"Mar-vin Hon-ijb-ij," says the robot as he starts to follow her down the path, a respectable distance of course.

"Yeah yeah! Whatever he is. I just want to bust the ass of whoever decided it was a smart idea to go up against the Tori and show him who's boss!" yells Melissa as she punches her hand in gives a cocky smirk as she grinds her fist into her palm. "Payback can be a bitch sometimes, can't it?"

"C-an't what?" asks the robot.

"You know," says Melissa as she turns around to walk backwards, able to see the robot's face. "Why don't you just keep looking pretty and leave the fighting to me?"

"B-ut our str-engths a-re equ-al if n-ot gr-eater."

"Are we there yet? Because I don't know if I can keep up this conversation between the two of us."

"Y-es. R-ight up th-ere," says the machine as he points one of his giant javelins in the air to a giant, omniscient building. There was a chilly breeze that blew across the barren grounds. Nothing moved, nothing made a sound, and everything left a deafening silence in Melissa's ear that scared her.

"Are you sure this is the place?" asks Melissa skeptically.

"Y-es," says the robot simply.

"Well, if you're certain," says Melissa as she lets out a loud exhale. She takes one step forward and a land mine was tripped. She was able to jump out of the way before any major damage was dealt to her, but some of the depry came back at her in the worst possible way. There was a glimmer and some static above as a projection was seen flickering on above their heads. A gruff guy with a scraggly beard and rugged appearance appears above them.

"So they send a daughter to do a real soldier's job. How poetic," laughs the man in the screen. "And look! We have a traitor in our midst! What do you have to say for yourself Buddy?"

"It is wr-ong what w-e ar-re doing," says the machine as he looks up at his master.

"You killed over a thousand people!" yells Melissa as she spins her javelin and glares up at the projection. "You have to repent for your sins!"

Girls and Their Toys

"Hit it again Melissa!" yells a big, aggressive blond guy with a mustach to a girl of about sixteen or seventeen  with honey blond roots that faded halfway down to the color Golden Honey. Her ruby red eyes glared at the man for a moment, hating him for making her do this. Her yellow, sleeveless dress with black stripes already had sweat stains and her black boots were started to irritate her skin, even through her black and yellow thigh high socks. She just grunts before lifting up her 9 ton pure titanium javelin, which she normally welded with effortless grace, but now felt like bricks because of all the training the man made her do, and pierces through another thick tree. The wood splinters and cracks from its' core and makes its way to the sides, cutting it down. The girl just exhaled in relief and angrily turns around to face the big man with a stern look on her face.

"How was that? Was that good enough for you? Do you want me to kill another tree?" asks the girl, angry.

The man just belts out a hearty laugh that seems to grow from the pit of his core and bubbles up. The girl just blushes, feeling a little stupid for saying that.

"Now that's a soldier! With you on the Tori's side, there's no way we're losing this war!" laughs the man as he slaps Melissa on the back, making her misplace her footing and falling a little forward. She coughs a little and straightens up by rolling her shoulders out.

"But what about all of those camps that were found destroyed? Aren't we losing?" asks Melissa as she looks up at the man, putting her javelins in a special backpack on her back, quitting for the day.

"We have to get back to camp, hurry up," says the man, changing the topic before they go too deep into this conversation. No one talked about those camps, those camps were never  to be brought up again. It did not matter what happened there, or how it all went down, but it was a disgrace to the Tori race and talking about them would be equally disgraceful.

As the two climbed up the dusty dirt path, the gleaming steel barricades were blinding in the afternoon sun. There was a thick, terracotta covered 50-foot steel wall that encased the barricades, protecting them, from the outside world. These steel covered buildings were home to Melissa, she has never been outside of these terracotta-steel walls without having training as an excuse and a chaperon on the way. For fifteen years, Melissa has been training, living, breathing here. She woke up an hour earlier than the other soldiers and was the last to go to sleep. This was home. Home, something that was beautiful and safe for Melissa.

She runs down the last stretch of the path, entering the giant steel gates that were a little worn out from years of use. As she enters the camp, she extends her arms out and take a deep inhale, feeling the crude scent of sweaty men, dirt, and processed food envelope her entire body. This is what safety felt like. She knew, that no one could enter this safe building unless asked. This was a place where death would never enter, and if he did then he will have to go through her.

A loud bang could be heard a few places away. Melissa quickly turns around fast enough to see a 70 inch steel ball hurtle its way through the air towards the big steel doors. The clashing of metal on metal signifies that security has been breached. The steel ball continues to whizz passed Melissa's head and collides with dirt and metal, creating an astonishing indent in the ground. The soldiers all around Melissa get ready for an attack, guns poised at the metal door, ready to shoot. Melissa sees this as a good idea and copies.

There was a faint humming heard and then the blood curdling sound of the 4 foot thick doors being torn off their hinges and they slowly rise in the air to the amazement of the people watching. Then, to the shock of everyone, they were casually tossed miles behind the intruder. Melissa moves her javelins in her hand nervously as she looks at this astonishing intruder, noticing that it was a single body. Two glowing red eyes stared through the dust at the number and amount of soldiers. Melissa was ready for whatever it was sizing her up, not caring if it were man or beast, knowing that each she could defeat easily. What she did not know is that this foul intruder was neither, in other words, it was machine. With astonishing speed and force, the aero-machine skewers the soldier next to Melissa, blood splattering everywhere. Melissa had never seen a dead body before, but she thought she would be prepared. As she stares at the now motionless man she knew as David, she feels something in the pit of her stomach, something she has never felt before, something that was now motivating her. She charges at the giant bee shaped killer with her javelins in hand, ready to pierce it through its' midsection, but its javelins were a little bigger. The giant bee did not meant to pierce Melissa's shoulder, or for her to grab on, refusing to let go, but that is exactly what happened.

The machine swings his javelin back a forth, trying to get a better angle to use his javelin on her, but she would not move. The face that looked back on the machine was a completely pissed person. In the end, the machine gave up and continued to fight with this extremely stubborn person on the end. The bee turns to the advancing soldiers and opens up a section of his chest, letting off a round of machine gun fires and then slaps down his heavy javelin to crush a soldier near him.

"NO!!" yell Melissa with all her might. She did not want to see anyone else die. She looks at the ground to see if she would be able to grab her javelins from the ground. If she let go to grab her javelins, then she would risk getting catapulted through the air like the Private who was now twirling through the air, his neck cracking under the pressure of the air to kill him. Melissa's face contorts between anger and dread as she looks at this... thing in front of her, starting to panic, thinking whether or not she could do this. She looked at the dead and mangled bodies around her and notices that the one from this morning, the instructor who was teaching her how to take down trees was among them. But... wait... he was starting to move. He tries to get up. On his blond, thick hair was matted with blood and dirt. His left cheek was covered with dried blood, either his or the dead man that was on top of him. He looked a little worse for wear and his left arm was hanging numbly at his side, probably broken. He charges up to the bee, yelling angry noise that meant nothing as he did so. In his hand was a gun, which he shot off nonstop the whole way there. As he barrels up to the machine, the bee looks down at Melissa and then back at the blond man. Melissa's eyes grow wide as she figures out its plan.

"Turn back Colonel! Get back!" yells Melissa behind her shoulder.

The Colonel does not listen to her pleading cries and continues to charge. Before he gets there, a soldier comes up to the bee, but was quickly squashed down. But that little distraction caused the bee to loss focus on Melissa on his javelin and thrusts Melissa's javelin at the charging Colonel. Melissa yells out her protests as she hears the ripping and tearing of flesh and organs, and the clean steal that slid in between. Melissa screams out in pain for both her now more injured shoulder and the bleeding, dying Colonel, who was like a father to her, on her back. Something wet and salt trails down her cheek as she just looks at nothing, her breath quickening, about to hyperventilate.  She tries to steady her breathing, but the warm blood that was running down her back would not allow her to calm down. Melissa then pushes herself, slowly, slowly, ever so slowly off of the stainless titanium javelin and thuds to the ground, landing on the Colonel's stomach, a little grunt being her when she connected with his abdomen. She rolls off and looks at the dying Colonel. He just gives a weak laugh, not as booming and all-powerful as he normally does, but enough to know that he was not sad to leave. He then coughs, blood coming back up and splattering all over Melissa's hands and arms.

"Please!" begs Melissa as the tears just come down faster. She is not able to stop them, no matter how hard she tries. "Please don't talk."

"M-mel-issa," says the Colonel slowly and weakly  almost as if it took all his strength to do.

"Please just rest, please," begs Melissa again.

"I-I'm s-or-ry," says Colonel. "I-I just wanted t-to sa-ve you."

"I don't need saving!" yells Melissa as the tears continue to run down her cheeks.

"I-its a-bout your f-father," says the Colonel. "Y-your fa-ther is... is..."

"I don't care!" cries Melissa, trying to breath, though her throat is not working with her. She swallows a few times before her lip starts to quiver, against her orders.

"Y-ou have to k-know," says the Colonel slowly. "H-he is..."

"Colonel? Colonel!" wails Melissa as she tries to shake the dead Colonel in her hands. When she realized that their was nothing she could do, she folds her head over and cries into his chest as it grows cold, not needing the warmth of a living soul anymore. A short blast and the smell of gunpowder snaps Melissa out of her grieving. The bee thing was shooting down buildings and watches as the fire engulfs every happy memory that Melissa has ever had, as the fires surround and destroy the only home that Melissa has ever known. As soot starts covering her's and the dead bodies around her also, the tears make a streak down the ash as she runs to her javelins and scoop them up in a quick, smooth movement that has came from years and years of training. This must be what she was born for, this must be of some significance in her life.

The bee heard her before she arrives and jabs its hands at her, but she had too much adrenaline in her body and was too fast for it as she hits it away. The bee takes a step back as she lunges at it, she spins and tries to attack again, this time the bee hits it away also. She does another spin and winds up both arms to double lunge at the machine. The machine dodges by lifting up in the sky and flying overhead. It then dives at Melissa and she starts to think again, trying to figure out the next three moves and goes with the plan. She rolls out of the way and jumps back to her feet. She sinks her giant javelins in the ground and pulls  out throwing knifes from her backpack throwing five at the machine, each hitting its' chest. Each knife sparks as they make contact with the titanium exoskeleton, each sending a jolt of electricity is sent through its body. It spazzes out for a little bit and then continues to advance towards Melissa. Melissa only has time to pull out one javelin before the bee machine is at her throat, but since she's using both hands, she has a better advantage now. She uses her javelin as a sword, slashing and lunging to get the machine off balance or get passed his guard, neither of which happened. She huffs and puffs after hours of doing this and not getting a single attack in. All of her throwing knives were already used and she was not doing very well. On the other hand, the machine has not used any of his ammunition and is not tired at all. She heaves her javelin one more time before the bug-like machine hits it away, it twirling in the air and landing with the but of the weapon to the ground and bouncing up again into the air. Melissa huffs and puffs as she glares at the bee, anger pouring out of her eyes. She then kicks off of her back foot and goes flying at the machine, fist clenched and ready to hit, it the bee had not knocked her off her feet before hand. She was face down in the dirt, which was now mixing with her sweat and blood. The dirt and soot caked her face as she tries to get back up. The bug just kicks her backwards, her flying through the air and landing with a loud thud on her back, still unable to catch her breath. The bee stands over her, its' red eyes looking down at her, emotionless it seemed. It places its thin little foot on Melissa's chest. Though it looked weak and flimsy, but it was able to hold Melissa down with very much force. Melissa looks at the silver, shiny javelin that was pointed at her throat and then diverts her attention to its lifeless red eyes, angry.

"DO IT!" yells Melissa angrily at him. "KILL ME!! SEE IF I CARE!!! SKEWER ME LIKE A PIECE OF MEAT! SINCE THAT'S ALL I AM TO YOU!! DO IT!!"

The machine just looks at her with its' big eyes in... almost question. There was a buzzing sound coming from its wings, though it was not about to take off.

"Or maybe you don't! Either way it's up to you if I live or die!" yells Melissa. "So what will it be! Are you going to kill me or what?!?"

The machine lowers its javelin arm and looks at Melissa, almost questioning her. Its wings flutter again, making a buzzing noise. Melissa just looks up at it, confused also.

"What's wrong with you! Pick one or the other! What good are you if you just stand on me!" yells Melissa, starting to get pissed. "What are you going to do!"

"N-o-thing," says a static, almost robotic voice from the giant bee.

"Then why are you still standing on me!" yells Melissa

"Ob-jective," says the robotic voice slowly. "Must ki-ll."

"Then kill me! Why can't you at least do that!"

"D-on't kn-ow."

"Well you better figure it out soon!" yells Melissa as she reaches for one of her throwing knifes and cuts off the machine's leg. The machine slowly topples over, taking a second to actually fall. Before it hits the ground, it flutters its wings and is suspended in the air. Melissa takes this time to attack, thrusting her javelin forward, hoping that it will penetrate  but unfortunately, the bee catches the javelin with his own and stops her.

"Y-ou are v-er-y g-ood f-ight-er," states the bee as he throws her off.

"You're not so bad yourself," says Melissa with a smirk.

"N-eed y-our he-lp. N-eed t-o o-ver-th-row m-aster."

"Master? You mean the man who built you?"

"Y-es. B-ad m-an w-ho h-as k-ill th-ous-ands of Tori."

"Who is he?"

"M-arvin H-onij-bij."

"So what are we waiting for?" asks Melissa as she heaves her javelins into there cases and rips off a long rag from a dead person besides her and wraps it around her still bleeding shoulder, hoping that it will stay like that. She hikes up her javelin case and looks at the bee. "Show me where this scum bag lives."

First Story

#015- Beedrill

Lone Soldier

If you listen closely, you can hear a faint humming sound in the wind. There was a stirring in the air as a giant bee shaped shadow pass through the night into the barricades. The soldiers of the Tori people did not awake from their slumber as a mechanical, aerial weapon lands in the middle of their base. Its exterior was striped with yellow and black with amber wings that let it hover and fly away if needed. Two red, computer based surveillance eyes sweeps the area, trying to detect any unwanted threat. As it moves on its long, thin legs, there was a gleam from two large, thin, long steel cones on the end of its arms instead of hands. This is not a hornet you mess with. He was looking for blood, and he knew that he would find it here.

"Wake those shit heads up."

A simple sentence, a simple command. Something that should have been harmless. But this is a war. This is how you gain the upperhand when it is you against the world. Just a simple command is the difference between winning and losing. And that command, that was the wild card.

The large bee swings its arm around and points it at one of the sleeping quarters. It opens to reveal the nose of a cannon being hidden inside of it. There is an explosion of gunpowder and steel as the machine blasts down the sleeping quarters. Shattered pieces of wood and body parts scattered through the grounds, catching on fire. There was a few movements from the rubble as the soldiers who were alive, which were very few, tried to escape and survive. The blast had set of a red alarm that started to blare through the barricades, awaking the soldiers. It has given its position away, so it took nothing for granted, holding nothing back. This was the best way to win.

There was an uproar from the remaining soldiers as they rush out to attack this machine. Screaming and yelling came from everywhere as bullets whiz passed its head and clicks of its titanium exoskeleton. The bee closes off its cannon and spins the silver cones on its arms till it clicks to lock. It then continues its rampage through the barricades, using its arms as swords. Since the soldiers were smart enough to stay away, the machine has decided to go to where they were, ripping through steel to get to the soldiers. Each hit was an instant kill, each blow slashed through flesh, intestines, and clothing. No man went  unharmed and no human was left alive. Its head swivels around to look for any heat signature besides the now blazing fire and thick smoke surrounding it.

"Come back home Little Buddy. You did very well."

The bee then turns and its thin legs as it trudges over broken buildings and fire licks its feet, unscaved by the destruction around it. When it got to the edge of the barricade, it turned around to watch the fire for a few moments. As the fire lights flickered against his ruby red eyes, for just a second, it was as if a thin twinkle ran down its face from how the lights played on the titanium. It then crouches down and jumps up with its wings hovering, being lifted up into the air as it flies over the damage.

In the inky dark woods on the outskirts of the barricade, a flicker of embers tumble to the ground as a man stomps out a cigar on the thick, green, now chard ferns that carpeted the ground. A flame can be seen as he places another cigar in his mouth, needing to light it. After it is lit, the embers play on his face since his mouth is upturned in an almost evil grin. On his chin is gruff and rough features that gave him a menacing look to him. He just chuckles to himself as he says, "Seven down, four more to go."

There is a soft thud behind him. A glint of yellow can be seen from the embers and glowing red eyes penetrate the darkness, staring right at the man. The man turns, unaffected by the giant killer bee behind him, and walks into the forest. Before he was completely surrounded by the shadows of the forest, the bee machine quickly turns to him, buzzing his wings in almost a pattern.

"It was a necessary loss to take," says the man coldly.

Another series of buzzing and the man turns around, his evil, victorious features instantly changing into pure terror as he angrily yells, "You don't get to think! You weren't programmed to think!
